Appointments advice

We use a system called askmyGP which is an easy and fast way to ask for any kind of help from the practice.

To improve access for our patients, from Monday 13th February 2023 we are changing the way that we use our AskMyGp Service which will now be used for ROUTINE appointment requests only.  You will be asked to answer a few questions and tell us what you need.

You will receive confirmation of your request and a team member will respond to your request.

This service is available between 8am– 12pm Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays)

Use the AskMyGp service – for routine appointment requests

  • When logged into AskMyGp, please select ‘Routine request’
  • Answer a few questions and tell us what you need (this should take no more than 5 minutes)
  • You will receive immediate confirmation of your request and a member of our team will respond accordingly with further information and appointment confirmation if requested, within 1-3 working days (although this may be longer during busy periods)

Urgent / on the day acute illnesses

If you have an urgent request you feel cannot wait for a routine appointment, then please contact the practice on 0161 755 9870 before 12pm.  A member of the reception team will raise a request on your behalf which will then be assessed by the on-call clinician who will allocate an appropriate appointment/call.  Please note this may not be the same day depending on the clinical need.
