A flu vaccination is recommended each year in line with Department of Health guidelines.
All childhood immunisations are carried out by the practice nurse and health visitor, supervised by a doctor.

We are able to take blood samples on-site.
Patients can make an appointment for the Phlebotomy Clinic by telephoning the booking hotline on 0161 934 8361.
The booking team will offer patients a choice of appointment at one of the Trafford blood testing clinics.

Women aged 25-50 are advised to have a smear test every three years and those aged 50-65 every five years.
Please get in touch with reception for an appointment with the practice nurse.

Patients Aged 75 And Over will be invited for a health assessment in the month of their 75th birthday.
We will endeavor to contact all patients over 75 who have not been seen every three years or you can make an appointment with our Health Care Assistant for a check-up if you have any concerns.
GPs will recall patients who are on regular medication or with a chronic disease at regular intervals.

The NHS is offering free health checks to adults aged 40-74 once every five years. The check is to assess your risk of developing heart disease, stroke, kidney disease or diabetes.
If there are warning signs, then together we can do something about it.
If you are already diagnosed with a chronic disease then this check-up does not apply to you.
The check should take about 20-30 minutes and is based on straightforward questions and measurements such as age, sex, family history, height, weight, and blood pressure. There will also be a simple blood test to measure your cholesterol level.

Please use the Self Check BP machine while waiting to see GP/Nurse or to monitor your blood pressure if you have been advised to do so.

Small operations and procedures are carried out within the practice by the doctors, consultation by appointment.
The doctors will refer you to Dr Freeman’s or Dr Syed’s minor surgery clinic if required.

The practice has a dedicated midwife who attends on Monday and Tuesday 09:15 – 11:10; patients are seen by appointment only.
The doctors provide post-natal care by appointment.

Advice is available from one of the practice nurses or any GP.
Coils and Implants will be fitted by special appointment with Dr Freeman. You must have had a prior consultation with Dr Freeman first.
