Living Well with Dementia – Open Day in Sale
A special community event will be taking place in Sale to support people living with dementia, their families, and carers.
Date: Sunday 24th August 2025
Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Sale Community Fire Station, Cranleigh Drive, Sale
This free open day will bring together more than 20 support groups, charities, and professionals who specialise in dementia care. Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Hear expert talks on dementia diagnosis, support, and advice
- Watch fire safety demonstrations
- Enjoy musical performances, games, and prizes
- Meet the local fire crew with photo opportunities on fire engines
- Relax with refreshments provided by the Salvation Army
The event is designed to be welcoming and accessible to everyone, with indoor areas, plenty of seating, and free parking available at Oaklands Drive Car Park, next to the Fire Station.
